So many people have helped in so many ways. To thank a few of them...

When I venture to downtown Portland, the Ace Hotel is my sanctuary away from home. It prides itself on being a place for the community. And now it's gone above and beyond to give me a sanctuary at the end of this journey. Jan Rosenveld, Director of Ace New York, believes in this cause. I can't express enough my gratitude.

Albert, mentor and bike anatomist, with your time and patience you've gifted me the confidence to take on this adventure. Grandmother, Mom, Dad, Françoise and Aunt Anne, you are my West Coast launch crew. You helped me get off the ground. Thank you for the boost. Aubrey and Joe, you've given me peace of mind while I live like a vagabond for two months.

When people ask me how I'm able to take two months to ride across the country, my response is always the same: "I've got the coolest boss in the world." I wouldnt've been able to even consider this ride without the enthusiastic support of Rob, my boss at STP. And Naomi, thanks for helping me stay on top of my life back home.

New Seasons at Arbor Lodge has fed me for the past decade and donated food to this ride to help keep me fueled up on their high-quality meats and produce, even when I'm out in the middle of nowhere.

Sarah and Ken at Renovo Bikes went above and beyond to get me onto this rig. It's gonna make all the difference.

Cary, most recently of North Portland Yoga fame, your book has infused this trip and my body with balance. You are a guide on the road. And Ashley, I haven't met a cyclist on this trip yet who hasn't asked about the hat you sewed for me. It's a runaway hit.

Holiday Inn Express of Glendive, I approach the Montana wilderness and rain today grateful that you'll be there for me when I reach the other end.
